Homemade Mini Caramel Apples

This recipe really needs no introduction. The title is enough to make your mouth water. Let me repeat… Homemade Mini Caramel Apples…doesn't that just scream Fall? Now, I must say, this recipe isn't mine. I saw it on Facebook (from Weight Watchers) and decided to share! Let me tell you how to make 'em.

Here's what you'll need -

• Honeycrisp, Pink Lady or Granny Smith Apples {the quantity of the apples depends on how many people you're serving}
• Caramel Candies {can be found at your local dollar store! Make sure they are the caramel squares}
• Lollipop Sticks {can be found in the baking section of your local store}
In case you haven't seen them before, here's what they look like -

• A microwaveable bowl
• A Melon Baller {can be found in the kitchen utensil section of your local store}
• A Cookie Sheet lined with Parchment or Wax Paper

Instructions -

1. Line your cookie sheet with your parchment or wax paper and set it aside

2. Peel the apple(s). Don't core them!!

3. Use the melon baller to make apple balls...Like this -

4. Unwrap all the caramel candies and put them in the microwaveable bowl

5. Microwave the candies until melted and smooth

6. Get your lollipop sticks and stick them in the apple balls you made earlier

7. Dip and swirl the apples on a stick in the melted caramel

8. Place the caramel apples on the cookie sheet lined with parchment paper

OPTIONAL - Before the caramel dries in the apples, roll the apples in chopped peanuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, coconut, etc. for mini candied caramel apples

9. To help the apples harden, refrigerate the apples until you're ready to serve.

Fall time is here, Finally!!!
Thank you so much for visiting my page! God Bless! ~ Raegan
