Here's What You'll Need:
- Small Squeeze Bottle (Found in the travel section of your grocery store or just use an old one of yours)
<<<Found these at walmart!!
- Pure olive oil
<<<You know where to find this!
- Antibacterial Hand Soap (Has to be antibacterial so it can get all of the nice, gooey, facial oil and other products off of your brushes)
<<<Walmart, Target, Dollar General, etc.
- A sink with running tap water.
- First: Get your squeezable bottle and pour it about half way up with the antibacterial soap.
- Next: Pour the rest of the way up with olive oil, but leave a little space for mixing
- Alright....you guessed it...SHAKE IT!
When you feel its good enough to stop shaking the mixture in the bottle, then stop. You probably may want to shake it for about 10-15 seconds, just so the olive oil can break down and mix into the soap.
Now get your brushes....
Squirt about an eyeballed teaspoon on each brush. Smaller brushes need a smaller amount.
Massage the "shampoo" into the bristles and rinse under warmish water. Be sure to massage them while rinsing as well to get all of the shampoo out of the brush.
HEY HEY HEY!! Before you go! This would be a GREAT gift to give to a pre-teen or a teen just starting on makeup. Go to like the dollar tree, Walmart. Sally's Beauty supply and get some of those $0.99-$1.50 eyeliners, eye shadow, blush, foundation, and of course....MAKEUP BRUSHES! And make your own little gift basket with some of this brush shampoo! This would be amazing to give a young girl just starting out on makeup.
ALSO: You can make the same thing, with the same concept of washing, and mix olive oil with the amount of shampoo that you use and BAM! Your hair is soft, repaired, and shiny! This does WONDERS for hair!
*****DISCLAIMER*****: All of these photos aren't mine....I Googled them and used them. Please don't go spaz on me for using something on the internet that was obviously there for anyone to use as they please. Most of these photos were posted by stores such as Walmart or Amazon!
